[Danske Bank: The U.S. Dollar Remains Near 18-Month High, CPI Unlikely to Alter Strong Trend] Odaily Planet Daily News – Danske Bank analyst Sille Bøe stated in a report that the U.S. dollar, boosted by weakened market risk appetite and comments from Federal Reserve official Beth Hammack supporting further rate hikes, remained near its 18-month high after reaching the level on Monday. Currently, the market is awaiting U.S. inflation data to be released on Wednesday for more clues regarding the Fed's future rate decisions. Bøe noted: 'The market is currently pricing in only 5 to 6 basis points for an October rate hike. Therefore, even if CPI data confirms that the Fed may adopt a quarterly rate hike pace, we do not believe this will significantly impact the dollar.' (Jin10)
