Most people see $38B+ in volume and assume Jumper is printing money. I ran the math and it's a different story. The volume is real. 30M+ transactions, and the last 30 days alone were about $808M in bridge volume and $159M in swaps, with bridging up around 34% from the month before. But on a $1,000 trade, Jumper makes anywhere from $0 to just $0.50, depending on what you're swapping. The fees look like this: Stable swaps: 0% Major swaps: 0.02% Other swaps: 0.05% Bridging is similarly cheap at roughly 0.01–0.05%. I did some back-of-the-napkin math on what that adds up to. At those rates, last month's volume works out to somewhere around $80k to $480k in fees, so call it roughly $1M to $6M a year depending on the mix. Which makes the upcoming JUMP launch more interesting to me as a business-model test than as another token sale. The distribution is clearly there, but turning all that activity into real money is the harder part. I think that's exactly why Jumper is pushing beyond simple bridging into Earn, RWAs, advanced trading and perps. More products means more chances to actually monetize the users it already has. It's also why I wouldn't obsess over the $75M sale FDV alone yet. The tokenomics are more interesting to me right now: - 33.33% community - 26.07% investors - 14.7% team - 21.9% treasury - 4% public sale Investor and team unlocks are delayed, but we still don't know how much of that 33.33% community slice is tradeable on day one, and that's gonna decide the opening float more than anything else here. So what I'm watching is pretty simple: 1. How much of the community allocation unlocks at launch 2. Monthly fee revenue, and whether it moves off that $1M to $6M range 3. Any announcement tying the token to fees, whether buybacks, revenue share, or anything else I'm probably off on some of the math, but I'd want answers to the last two before caring much about the FDV either way.
