《Three-in-One Trading System|BTC Evening Market Analysis (1/3): Volume》---- Both bullish and bearish volume are weak, and the price is swinging up and down so much it’s dizzying!
Volume structure: Bullish volume is fading, and bears aren’t stepping up either.
BTC is currently priced near 84K, rebounding from the 82,500 low. On the 4-hour chart, bullish volume has been gradually decreasing since the main surge on September 21, and the rebound to 84,100 shows noticeably weak volume.
Bearish volume briefly increased from September 22 to 23 but quickly faded without further expansion. Bears are seriously underperforming!
Latest bull vs. bear comparison: evenly matched, both sides are weak.
The futures market is deleveraging. Bitcoin futures open interest has dropped to around 652,000 BTC, the lowest since 2026, down nearly 150,000 BTC compared to the beginning of the year.
Funding rates have turned negative. The average funding rate for perpetual contracts on major exchanges has fallen to around -0.3%, meaning bears are paying bulls to maintain their short positions. This is a complete reversal from the early September scenario where bulls were lining up to enter the market.
Volume assessment: On the 4-hour chart, both bulls and bears are weak, signaling the end of deleveraging. Price volatility is narrowing, with sharp moves in both directions and no clear trend. Contract trading difficulty is at hell level!
