Today, I met with @EUauditors President Tony Murphy.
Lithuania supports the Irish Presidency’s efforts to reach an agreement on the new EU budget by the end of this year.
From our perspective, it is essential to ensure adequate funding for new priorities, such as security and defence, competitiveness and support for Ukraine, while safeguarding the traditional priorities – namely, funding for cohesion policy and the Common Agricultural Policy.
