Today, I arrived at #EUCO determined to reach the #MFF deal until the end of the year. The proposal of the Irish Presidency is well balanced and preserves the CAP and the Cohesion Policy. However, we need to keep intact the CEF funding, especially on military mobility & Eastern border regions. The budget needs to be ambitious. The size of the budget matters. Further cuts to the funding would risk losing EU priorities!
