[DWF Labs Co-Founder Responds to DEXE Sell-Off Rumors: Closed Hedging Positions Due to Negative Funding Rates, Sold Spot to Increase Cash Reserves]
DWF Labs co-founder Andrei Grachev issued a statement addressing recent market speculation regarding DEXE transactions, stating that all related transactions can be verified through centralized exchange records. Grachev explained the process of DWF Labs' DEXE transactions as follows: large-scale purchases of DEXE in 2024, partial sales for profit in 2025, another round of large-scale purchases of DEXE around October 10, hedging profits in the first half of 2026, and, when funding rates turned negative, being forced to close short positions and selling part of the DEXE spot holdings to increase cash reserves. Grachev emphasized that all buying and selling operations were conducted through centralized exchanges, with the trading platforms holding the relevant account information, and criticized certain paid KOLs for spreading 'misleading information.'
