[U.S. Senate Monday Agenda Does Not Include CLARITY Act, Passage Before Recess Unlikely]
According to CryptoSlate, the U.S. Senate's Monday agenda does not include a vote on the CLARITY Act and currently only plans to hold a procedural vote on the continuing resolution H.R.6500. Under Senate rules, if a motion to end debate is filed on August 5, the earliest vote could take place on August 7, but this vote would only pertain to advancing the motion. Since further discussions, deliberations, and potentially another motion to end debate would still be required, the normal process cannot be completed before the recess.
