Delay going public rather than lower the valuation? The New York Times revealed that Sam Altman, the boss of ChatGPT's parent company OpenAI, is considering postponing the company's IPO plans to 2027. The reason? The current market can't handle a $1 trillion valuation IPO.
Especially with recent market fluctuations and the pressure on SpaceX's stock price after its IPO, but the guy is absolutely unwilling to lower the valuation.
