Federal judge Leonie Brinkema, who was nominated by President Clinton & confirmed by the Senate to serve as U.S. District Court judge for Eastern VA by voice vote in 1993, temporarily blocked the Trump administration from processing or paying out any claims from the nearly $1.8 billion "anti-weaponization" settlement fund ahead of a June 12 hearing.
