[It is reported that Iran will open the strait within 30 days after the agreement is reached, and the ceasefire agreement will be extended by 60 days] According to Jintou citing *Nikkei News* on Monday, which quoted a Middle Eastern diplomatic source, the United States and Iran are discussing a plan to open the Strait of Hormuz approximately 30 days after the two countries reach an agreement to end hostilities. Once the agreement is reached, Iran will clear the mines in the strait within the 30-day timeframe. Afterward, ships from all countries will be able to navigate freely and safely, and Iran will also cease charging transit fees. The report also states that the ceasefire agreement reached in early April will be extended by 60 days. During this two-month ceasefire period, both parties plan to negotiate on Iran's nuclear program. Additionally, according to *Al Arabiya*, the draft agreement between the U.S. and Iran allows for the free opening of the Strait of Hormuz and the removal of mines. The strait's navigation is expected to be restored within 30 days.
