More super tankers depart from the Strait of Hormuz
Odaily Planet Daily News: Recently, there have been signs of an increase in the number of super tankers transporting sanctioned oil through the Strait of Hormuz, bringing limited relief to the global oil market that has experienced the largest supply disruption in history. According to ship tracking data compiled by Bloomberg, since May 10th, four oil tankers each carrying approximately 2 million barrels of crude oil, mainly from Iraq, have departed from the Strait of Hormuz, equivalent to a transportation speed of nearly 2 million barrels per day.
