Lessons from Hiking Applied to Investing: On a hike, some people choose to turn back in time, while others push through to the summit. There’s no absolute right or wrong—it's all about what’s *suitable*. From this perspective, hiking and investing are quite similar. At their core, both involve making decisions amidst uncertainty, factoring in the difficulty of the route, physical ability, and environmental conditions. Cutting losses is the way to survive, while pushing through is about willpower and persistence. The key is to assess our stamina, gear, route, and whether the mountain is worth it—can we keep going? The best investors are actually “masters of both”: When it’s time to cut losses, they’re more decisive than anyone else (protecting capital); when it’s time to push through, they’re more resolute than anyone else (trusting their judgment). That’s what makes them truly hardcore. And this is the core of what sets people apart in investing: It’s never about how many times you’re right, but about making the most suitable choice for yourself during the toughest moments. The key question is: What’s the investment system that suits *us* best? Investing is a journey, and so is hiking. Big thanks to @pearbinance @moonkimbinance @yayabinance for the invite, and honored to plan the route for BNB holders alongside @KuiGas as the guide. Gotta say, the Binance Hong Kong event was pretty epic—the drone show over Victoria Harbour was quite the spectacle.
