[Tech Stock Rebound Boosts U.S. Markets, Asian Markets Poised for Strong Opening]
According to a report by Jinse Finance, rising tech company stock prices have lifted Wall Street, easing concerns about the disruptive impact of artificial intelligence. Asian markets also appear set to climb. Stock index futures indicate strong openings for markets in Sydney, Tokyo, and Hong Kong.
In the U.S., the Nasdaq 100 Index rose 1.1%, buoyed by a rebound in software stocks, while the S&P 500 Index also gained, supported by improved consumer confidence. Short-term bonds underperformed. Gold and crude oil prices declined.
Traders are also closely watching Nvidia's earnings report, set to be released on Wednesday, with expectations that the chipmaker's performance will far exceed forecasts. Previously, Nvidia's stock performance had been lackluster due to investors selling off large-cap stocks.
David Laut of Kerux Financial stated that this week's earnings reports will either 'alleviate' or 'intensify' concerns about artificial intelligence. While we won't get all the answers this week, anxious investors are eager for clear information. (Jin10)
