Infra either emerges as a platform or becomes commercialized. ”-This viewpoint is very inspiring, but I do not fully agree with it. The core viewpoint of Teacher @ w_eidai that I understand is that there may be two completely different paths for the development of web2/web3 infrastructure products: 1) Being imitated by competitors in the fierce competition of segmented tracks and becoming "mainland goods"; 2) Platform products with strong network effects. The value brought by the former is linear, selling the product to a customer earns one cent; The square level growth of the value brought by the latter is based on the fact that the more users on the platform, the stronger the scale effect, and the steeper the value growth curve of the platform. Focusing on the Crypto industry, Infra's transformation product business mainly includes all XaaS track projects, such as RaaS (Rollup-as-a-Service), AVSaS (AVS-as-a-Service), ZK-as-a-Service, and so on. RaaS represents projects such as OP Stack, @ Arbitrum Orbit, @ Calderaxyz; AVSAS representative project @ Eigenlayer; ZKaaS represents projects such as @ boundless_xyz, @ SuccintLabs But an easily overlooked point is that most of the products in the Infra track are technology intensive and not easily imitated; Taking a step back, before the technological barriers disappear, they have enough time to reach a consensus on a community of interests with B-end consumers, and the value generated by B-end consumers as platform products can be passed on to Infra itself. This is not a one-time transaction, but a strongly related community of interests. OP Stack and @ base are a good example. OP Stack provides RaaS one click blockchain service for Base, and Base feeds back to OP Stack's parent company @ Optimism through revenue sharing. The more revenue Base generates, the more revenue @ Optimism shares. OP Stack effectively captures the value generated by the potential network effects of Base. Another example is @ eigenlayer, which can be attributed to commodified Infra. However, what it provides to B2B consumers is not a one-time clearly priced AVS service, but a community of interests strongly associated with its native token EIGEN. @After upgrading the EigenLayer brand to EigenCloud, it provides data availability EigenDA, dispute resolution EigenVerify, and verifiable off chain computing EigenCompute for B-end users. In a sense, the essence of EigenLayer's brand upgrade is to maximize the value generated by the network effect of B-end users. So, It is unfair to talk about the commodification of Infra without considering technological barriers and value transfer. Infra can still stand undefeated through the feedback of platform based B-end users without becoming a platform.
