I am the first to acknowledge that there is still a great deal of work to be done. We are fully aware that some communities continue to face challenges, communities without reliable water supply, communities with deteriorating roads, families whose homes are in disrepair. I recently toured areas where residents showed me riverbanks that are eroding and threatening their homes. These issues are real, and we must address them. So while I proudly speak about the progress we’ve made, please know that I am equally aware of the burdens that weigh on your minds and hearts. Anyone can stand on a platform and amplify grievances. But not everyone can deliver solutions. I can. I have. And I will continue to do so. Our mission continues, until the glass is full, until every community feels the commitment of progress.
