1. In the era of RWA, oracles have also benefited greatly. Can we analyze the oracle sector?
I used to hold LINK in the oracle sector a long time ago, but after selling it, I have rarely paid attention since. It's not that this track is bad, but I personally am not very interested in it.
When looking at this sector, you should first determine whether you are just playing around or tentatively investing a small amount of capital, or if you are preparing to invest heavily.
If you are just playing around or tentatively buying in, and you don't care whether the little amount of capital you invest ultimately loses or earns money, then you can relax and boldly try with a playful attitude. Don't worry too much about economic gains or losses; pay more attention to your own insights and experiences during this process.
If you are preparing to invest heavily, then analyze it like I do with other projects, such as UNI, looking at three parts: free cash flow, business model (moat), and corporate culture (team).
To look at free cash flow, use AI tools to access on-chain databases (like dune.com, etc.), retrieve the annualized income of the projects you are interested in, estimate their future free cash flow discounted to today's value, and then compare it with the current market capitalization to see if the price is high or low.
When considering the business model (moat), compare the project you are interested in with existing projects in the same sector and potential future projects. Does it have an insurmountable moat that others cannot overcome?
For corporate culture (team), assess whether this team is worth trusting. Is it worth investing heavily in? Carefully consider if, at times when it faces significant doubt from the outside, this team dares to persist in doing what you believe is right while completely ignoring external evaluations and criticisms.
Then, I'll add a bit of extra comparison:
Compare the project you are interested in with Bitcoin and Ethereum. Think calmly: if you are ready to invest a significant amount of money into an asset for a long time, would you dare to place this significant amount on Bitcoin or Ethereum, or would you still dare to invest heavily in the coin you are interested in?
If you feel that you have not thought through any of the above questions, then the answer is very simple: do not invest heavily.
Because once you buy it, you won't be able to hold it; even if it becomes a hundredfold coin in the future, you won't make that hundredfold profit.
2. What about SKY? It also gives tokens value, has real buybacks, has burning, and has the USDS stablecoin, but it seems the market has overlooked something about it.
First, I'll repeat a viewpoint I often share:
If it is a game, then of course you should pay attention to the market's short-term performance, as gaming is about making money from short-term market fluctuations.
But if it is an investment, then you should not pay attention to the market's short-term trends at all, especially not let short-term market trends affect your judgment of investment value.
Regarding the SKY token and the current operation of its project, I remember sharing in previous articles, but my understanding of the project is not as deep as that of this reader.
The message mentioned many long-term positive news about SKY, so the reader can follow this thought to continue digging into its value, or use the method I shared in the above question to see if SKY is worth investing in.
If using the method above leads to the final conclusion that the SKY project has high potential value, the current price is low relative to its potential value, and its risk and combined investment return are higher than Bitcoin and Ethereum, while the market has surprisingly overlooked such a good target,
then it just proves the investor's insight, indicating that this investor has discovered an opportunity that others have not found.
Buffett, Munger, and Duan Yongping have historically built significant wealth through repeated opportunities like this, reaching their current state.
The above is simply a sharing of methods and ideas and does not represent my latest view on SKY. I have never bought the SKY token either.
