The more I look, the more I want to laugh, people with half-baked knowledge, how much they can't stand bitcoin:native!
This is like saying that missiles will be more powerful in 2035, so today all tanks, fighters, and aircraft carriers are outdated technology.
If in the future Bitcoin truly becomes a global asset network worth tens of trillions or hundreds of trillions of dollars, spending a hundred billion dollars to cope with a civilization-level cryptographic upgrade is nothing?
How much do traditional banks, payment networks, cloud computing, and communication systems burn every year on security, compliance, and system upgrades?
To take a step back, quantum computing attacks cryptography, not the three words "blockchain."
If one day quantum computing really matures to the point where it can widely crack existing elliptic curve cryptography, the problem will definitely not just be BTC.
Bank certifications, government certificates, corporate keys, HTTPS, VPNs, and various digital signature systems all have to migrate together.
By that time, the entire modern digital society will have to replace its underlying cryptography, and it has nothing to do with blockchain being outdated!
