The late-August rally kept drawing fresh institutional money.

Bitcoin ETFs pushed past the $100 billion asset mark, ether posted another heavy inflow day, and solana delivered one of the standout performances among altcoin funds. The buying was broad enough to lift every major crypto ETF category tracked for the session.

Bitcoin ETFs attracted $242.24 million, led by a $277.61 million inflow into Blackrock’s IBIT.

ARK 21Shares’ ARKB added $29.75 million, while Bitwise’s BITB brought in $21.74 million. Grayscale’s Bitcoin Mini Trust received $11.66 million, Morgan Stanley’s MSBT added $6.66 million, and Vaneck’s HODL drew $5.66 million.

Those gains absorbed sizeable withdrawals elsewhere. Fidelity’s FBTC lost $83.63 million, while Grayscale’s GBTC posted a $27.21 million outflow. Trading value reached $3.45 billion. Combined net assets climbed to $100.93 billion, crossing the $100 billion threshold.

Ether ETFs also remained firmly in demand, drawing $234.51 million with no fund reporting an outflow.

Blackrock’s ETHA led with $130.22 million, followed by Fidelity’s FETH at $56.23 million. Blackrock’s ETHB added $20.67 million, while Grayscale’s Ether Mini Trust attracted $14.31 million. Morgan Stanley’s MSSE, Grayscale’s ETHE and Bitwise’s ETHW completed the gains. Ether ETF assets closed at $15.57 billion on $1.38 billion in trading volume.

Solana ETFs brought in $60.91 million, led by $40.20 million into Bitwise’s BSOL.

Grayscale’s GSOL added $6.22 million, Fidelity’s FSOL received $5.82 million, Morgan Stanley’s MSOL gained $4.74 million, and 21Shares’ TSOL attracted $3.93 million.

The surge came as SOL climbed about 17% over the previous seven days. Solana ETF assets reached $1.49 billion, equal to roughly 2.33% of the token’s market capitalization.

HYPE ETFs added $24.42 million, with Bitwise’s BHYP accounting for $23.22 million. Assets rose to $467.37 million, 2.46% of HYPE’s market value.

XRP ETFs attracted $18.47 million, split between Bitwise’s XRP fund and Franklin Templeton’s XRPZ. Combined assets closed at $1.49 billion.

Bitwise CEO Hunter Horsley summed up the breadth of the day’s demand after roughly $100 million flowed into the firm’s U.S. products: “Investors are adding exposure to crypto.”

Thursday’s numbers supported that view. Capital was still flowing heavily into bitcoin and ether, while increasingly meaningful allocations reached solana, HYPE and XRP.
