1. Will the dedicated public chains created for stablecoins also be a flash in the pan?

This is a reader's question after the article "The Great Elimination of Public Chains" published on August 10.

I believe these public chains will have the same fate as mentioned in the article; they will also be a flash in the pan.

Of course, when I say they are eliminated, it does not mean they will actually die. They may have their own small business, a small ecosystem, and might even maintain a certain level of profitability. But in the context of the entire crypto ecosystem, their position is negligible and can basically be ignored.

This is similar to how we look at China's economy; we only focus on first-tier and second-tier cities, and rarely pay attention to an unknown fourth-tier small city.

It is very likely that the unknown fourth-tier small city has an extremely excellent ecological environment, extremely rare living conditions, and extremely friendly neighborhood relationships; there may even be a group of residents who would never want to leave, believing that their city is the best in the world. In their eyes, that city is "a paradise on earth."

But in the larger context of China, most people will not intentionally pay attention to its development and changes.

For the vast majority, to find leap opportunities and seek jump developments, they will definitely prioritize first-tier and second-tier cities.

The same principle applies to the crypto ecosystem; I will not spend much energy focusing on the so-called dedicated public chains but will only pay attention to the mainstream of the crypto ecosystem.

2. Can you talk about the latest coins and prices that you are investing in regularly? It feels like it has been a while since you last mentioned it.

I indeed haven’t mentioned it in a long time; ever since I last talked about it, there has been no change—the regular investment targets are Ethereum and Bitcoin.

However, this round did not involve regular investment in Bitcoin because I think the price has not dropped to a level that I consider to be cost-effective; Ethereum is good, and the investment price has been raised to $3000 because I believe it has greater potential.

3. Will October be the lowest point in this bear market?

This is a question from a reader after the article "Crypto Talent Turning to AI, Where Will the Crypto Industry Go?" published on August 12.

Under this question, there was another reader's comment— I believe this reader's comment has completely answered this question for me:

"Because he doesn't know... he really doesn't know, because no one knows."

I truly do not know where the lowest point is or when it can be reached.

If I could know where the lowest point is and when it would arrive, then I wouldn’t need to invest regularly; I would just wait for the lowest point and invest all the money I could into it.

From this, I thought of another point:

I often advise every investor to find a field they are particularly familiar with and understand deeply, and to explore that niche area to find their investment opportunities.

But this familiarity and understanding is definitely not about being able to find a target in a field and then precisely grasping the bottom and top of this investment target, thus achieving bottom fishing and top escaping.

Rather, it means being able to understand the long-term potential and true value of this target better than the average person. When the price of this target is obviously below its intrinsic value, others may not hold on while you can, and when others are afraid to buy, you dare to buy. That is the goal.

Making precise bottom fishing and top escaping the goal is not something that ordinary people can or should do.

I would like to reiterate a point I shared in an article a few days ago:

As ordinary investors, it is best to completely eradicate the concepts and ideas of "bottom fishing" and "top escaping" as they are harmful and yield no benefits for ordinary people.
