The naming of GPT has a damn familiar feeling; at first glance, I thought GPT was pulling up in the crypto market!

Talking about this update of GPT, I feel it represents a direction:

Not long ago, Ben Thompson published this article titled “Anthropic’s Safety Superpower,” which tells us:

The competition in AI is no longer just who has the stronger model, but who controls user entry points, real usage data, organizes knowledge loops, and who has the power to decide what AI can help you do and what it cannot do.

This means that cutting-edge AI companies naturally have the motivation to shift from “model suppliers” to “user workflow entry points,” because entry means locking in, data, and compound interest;

The upgrade of GPT introduced the three models Sol/Terra/Luna, representing three levels of capability, which can iterate independently, so what can we see?

1️⃣ In the future, AI usage capability itself will become a productivity gap.

It’s not about whether one can use ChatGPT, but whether one can design a model division system; this trend is irreversibly forming.

2️⃣ In the future, models will not be a single entity, but a set of capability tiers.

Real competition will shift from whose model is the strongest to: who can complete complex tasks stably at a lower cost.

3️⃣ Insights for us:

For investors, the visible AI application layer will continue to explode; for content creators, content production will continue to have its costs compressed;

For super individuals, this is a huge opportunity;

Learn to break down daily work into three categories:

High-judgment tasks, standard output tasks, bulk execution tasks.

Then, allocate different levels of AI accordingly. The sooner you do this, the more obvious your efficiency advantage will be.

Finally, I want to mention that ordinary users still cannot use it because the U.S. government requires that it is currently only available to a few partners (API + Codex), and ordinary users will have to wait a few weeks.
