❓ Why did this guy choose to borrow USDC from AAVE? It's a loss!
My guess is he definitely did not find the correct way to use Spark @sparkdotfi——
In sparklend, you can directly borrow USDS at a low interest rate and then exchange it 1:1 for USDC through the built-in PSM function.
This means you can use the cheaper USDS debt within the Sky system to obtain dollar liquidity available in the external market.
With the current interest rate difference, you can save nearly 10% on costs!
Many protocols have this PSM function, but usually it's just a dual-asset exchange contract that allows users to swap stablecoin A with protocol stablecoin B at a fixed price to help return to the peg.
What’s good about Spark's PSM is that it is not an isolated module; it tackles depth and scheduling simultaneously while handling the conversion between USDC ↔ USDS ↔ sUSDS.
Current on-chain data shows that the Sky/Maker Lite PSM vault has nearly 4 billion USDC, which is far higher than the capacity of most protocol PSMs, allowing users to stabilize entering and exiting yield products~
Did you learn this little trick?
