Instead, Cursor is focusing on optimizing its self-developed model Composer. This model is partially supported by the Chinese AI model Kimi. Previously, the market expected that if the deal was reached, Cursor might engage in deep cooperation with xAI to develop programming models, but the latest developments indicate that the company will still adhere to an independent technology route in the short term.
