PANews May 1 news, according to PRNewswire, cryptocurrency asset management company Bitwise announced the closure and liquidation of its two cryptocurrency ETFs: Bitwise Trendwise BTC/ETH and Treasuries Rotation Strategy ETF (BTOP) and Bitwise Web3 ETF (BWEB). The specific reasons for the closure have not been disclosed.

Bitwise reminds that after May 21, 2026, investors who do not actively sell their fund shares will have their holdings automatically redeemed in cash at the net asset value (NAV) of their respective ETFs, with the relevant funds expected to be distributed around May 29, 2026, through brokerage or other financial intermediaries.
