Trump stated that the U.S. blockade against Iran is aimed at preventing Iran from extorting or blackmailing the world, and said that next will be Cuba.

He added that the U.S. does not rely on the Strait of Hormuz, saying, "We don’t need that strait," and claimed that the U.S. has "more oil and natural gas than Saudi Arabia and Russia."

Trump said "many countries" are turning to the U.S. for "the best, sweetest" oil, and hinted that the situation "might be resolved before that."

When asked if other countries would support the blockade, he said, "We don’t need other countries," but claimed that some countries had offered to help, adding that he would announce details tomorrow.

He also mentioned that the U.S. might head to Cuba after currently focusing on ending tensions with Iran.
