Does Google translate this well, so do we still need to learn English?

Here is my accurate reply after testing!

I saw this is one of the main topics discussed by everyone yesterday, where many people believe that after the launch of Google’s translation feature, we no longer need to learn English,

but in fact, I think this cannot break the language barrier for the following reasons:

1. Accuracy of Translation:

The current translation is still not one hundred percent accurate; after testing, the error rate is still about 10%, which is unacceptable to me.

2. Environmental Factors:

In many communication environments, it is actually impossible to achieve a very quiet setting; there will always be some noise nearby.

I just tested this function and found that interference from other noises has a significant impact on the accuracy of language recognition.

3. Depth of Communication:

In a smooth communication process, if everyone wants to communicate better, it is impossible to rely solely on a translator.

Even if the underlying logic of this translator is error-free and the translation is very accurate, using a translator will never achieve true, optimal communication results.

Having a human translator is definitely better than using a translator, but I believe that even with translation assistance, perfect communication cannot be achieved. These current software and translation apps, even if their core is replaced with AI, still cannot match the effectiveness of human translation.

I believe that relying solely on a translation tool embedded with AI functions to break the so-called language barrier, or even to convince people that learning a language is unnecessary, is an illusion.
