Executive Chairman Michael Saylor revealed the purchase Monday, noting that Strategy paid an average of $70,194 per bitcoin for the newly acquired 22,337 BTC, bringing the company’s total bitcoin reserves to 761,068 BTC as of March 15, 2026.

The firm has accumulated the stack for approximately $57.61 billion, with an overall average acquisition price of $75,696 per coin, according to Saylor’s announcement on X. The latest buy extends Strategy’s long-running bitcoin accumulation strategy that began in 2020 and has steadily transformed the company into the largest corporate holder of the asset.

By continuing to add to its holdings during different market cycles, the firm remains one of the most influential institutional participants in the bitcoin market, reinforcing its view that bitcoin functions as a long-term treasury reserve asset.

As Saylor stated in a recent interview, “ Bitcoin actually solves the problem by saying well what if you just had a money the government couldn’t debase, the bank couldn’t steal, that would last FOREVER.”
