Every time X pays salary @_FORAB, I am very envious, but there is nothing I can do about it. I have explained many times, but there are still many friends who may not know that the salary paid by X mainly comes from "advertising display revenue," which has a lot to do with your Stripe settings. If your location setting is the same as mine, which is Hong Kong, then you are working hard, yet the revenue on X is still unlikely to exceed 1,500 USD in half a month (only in the cryptocurrency field).
This is my data from the past half month; it should be considered a medium level in the Chinese cryptocurrency field. Before the revision, my half-month income was about 200 USD, and after the revision, it was about 500 USD. This means that even if your data is twice as good as mine, your earnings will at most be just over 1,000 USD, which shows the difference in regions.
Because in the Chinese-speaking area, especially in Hong Kong, the advertisements placed by X are too few, and there is almost no advertising effect. In contrast, Japan, which is the second-largest user of X in Asia (starting in 2025, India will become the largest user), has over 50 million users, and the number of ads placed is countless. Therefore, if the registered location of Stripe is in Japan or India (with KYC requirements), the revenue will almost be among the top in the Asia region.
I see many friends feeling envious, but this matter really cannot be changed just by hard work, and once you bind the area of the Stripe payment (make it clear, it's payment) you cannot change it.
Where you start your registration is where it stays, which means that if you are registered in Hong Kong like me, I’m sorry, unless mainland China opens up the use of X or you find a way to change the registered location of Stripe, otherwise don’t even think about it.
Even if you are registered with Stripe in Hong Kong and speak English, it doesn’t help. However, if you are registered with Stripe in Japan or India, even if you speak Chinese, you will still be paid according to the Japanese and Indian standards for ad revenue.
Of course, this is under the condition that the data is the same.
