After AI levels the skill threshold, where is the "moat" for "humans"?

Wow, no wonder this article is so popular; it seems that everyone has come to a surprisingly consistent conclusion.

After experiencing vibe coding for a while, during my hospital stay, I kept thinking: When AI levels the playing field for "skills," where exactly is our "moat" as "humans"?

1) Content really doesn't matter anymore; "perspective" is the scarce asset.

When the production cost of content approaches zero, the barriers to information are completely broken down. However, this does not mean the demise of "creators"; rather, it will lead to the victory of "subjectivity."

The attitude of "humans" towards all content and the personal experience of the world become particularly important. This is precisely what the author means when they say your brand = your story + worldview.

Content can be standardized by algorithms, but "perspective," with its warmth, biases, and unique experiences as a filtering mechanism, is where the greatest premium lies in the future.

2) Ideas are products; the friction of execution is disappearing.

In the past, creating data dashboards and research tools involved various skill barriers. Now, with just a few prompts, ideas can be turned into reality, improving efficiency for oneself, sharing with friends, or even directly monetizing as products.

We are being forced to transition from "consumers" to "product managers." The era of "everyone is a product manager," which has been shouted for many years, is truly upon us.

For example, this morning I found my Claude account was inexplicably banned, and since I heavily rely on the Project feature, I immediately redesigned a personal front-end using a local database + Claude Code to replace the original web version of Claude. I used my own ideas to invoke various large models behind the scenes, and all sorts of quirky ideas can be productized for personal use (this awareness and capability are very important).

3) Farewell to the era of specialization; strive to be a pioneer in the "generalist era."

The industrial age turned people into cogs (Specialists) because that was the most efficient way. But in the AI era, AI is the most efficient "expert"; it can write more standardized code and calculate data faster than you can. At this point, the dividend period for "generalists" has arrived.

Do not fall into the trap of perfectionism by striving for excellence. Once you get caught up in optimizing details, the flaws of vibe coding will make it feel inferior compared to mature industrial software.

What we need to do is not compete with programmers on code elegance but rather race against time in the speed of turning ideas into reality. Instead of spending a week optimizing a feature, it’s better to spend an hour letting AI rewrite it with a different approach. In the AI era, "completion" is far more important than "perfection."
