The logic of truly being optimistic about a project | Q&A

- The Chinese stock market, I heard from friends that it has increased three to four times, but withdrawing funds is difficult and illegal, and in the future, no one will come to the crypto space in China. There's no need to take risks and break the law.

The A-share index has not increased that much; individual stocks (especially certain hot stocks) have indeed surged significantly in this round of market activity. However, most individual stocks are still basically flat.

As for the difficulties in withdrawing funds and the legal issues, this is a very serious problem, so do not engage in such operations domestically. It is essential to strictly adhere to domestic laws and completely separate RMB from these activities.

When using RMB, invest in ways that are legal and compliant within the country, and seek legitimate investment channels.

This is also why I raised questions in my recent series of articles titled "Learning from the Day":

In a situation where there are no good investment channels domestically, funds cannot be moved out, and the real estate market has collapsed, if the stock market also fails, how will residents' wealth grow? If residents' wealth cannot grow, what will happen in the future?

This can only be left to time!

- Being able to think alongside enterprises. What I can do and understand now is only Ethereum. Is there anything else?

Being able to understand Ethereum, finding the right price to invest heavily, and being able to completely ignore various market fluctuations and disturbances is already quite remarkable.

Many people claim to understand, but they do not truly understand.

It is not always easy to judge whether a person truly understands, but generally, you can assess a person's lack of understanding by the following situation:

When the market rises slightly, they anxiously want to sell, "quickly break even"; when the market drops slightly, they frantically want to sell, "quickly escape."

If someone perfectly does these two things, then 99% of the time, they do not understand.

Duan Yongping said that understanding a company is like going through an undergraduate program, which takes about three to four years. Therefore, truly understanding a company or project is very difficult.

To understand a company, be willing to invest heavily at the right price, then hold onto it, follow the company's growth, unless a better target is found, the fundamentals worsen, or a significant bubble occurs, otherwise, keep holding. This is already a very good investment strategy.

- A bit of looking for reasons for the decline

This is a comment after the article "What Can You Buy After Selling Bitcoin" on November 21.

This article is not looking for reasons for the decline, but rather wants to share:

When the market declines, if you can't control the urge to buy recklessly and can't find better investment targets, it’s better to ignore the decline and hold onto the Bitcoin and Ethereum you have without moving them.

Whether or not the market declines and the reasons for the decline are not the issues discussed in this article.

- Duan Yongping hasn't found a better opportunity cost than Moutai, but that doesn't mean others are in the same situation.

This is also a comment after the article "What Can You Buy After Selling Bitcoin" on November 21.

In fact, there have always been many people who "are not necessarily in the same situation."

For example, in our ecosystem, how many people (I estimate the vast majority of readers) found investment opportunities far exceeding Moutai early on: Bitcoin and Ethereum.

But think back: how many of those who found opportunities far exceeding Moutai early on ultimately achieved returns from Bitcoin and Ethereum that surpassed Duan Yongping's returns from Moutai?

Even if they smartly exited at a high point and held onto a lot of cash, didn't the vast majority still end up squandering their precious cash for various reasons? Ultimately, they neither retained cash nor held onto Bitcoin and Ethereum.

Instead of this, why go to great lengths to find a supposedly "better" investment target rather than holding onto the Bitcoin and Ethereum they once sold?

This article is not about discussing whether or how to find better investment opportunities, but rather to express:

In reality, for the vast majority of people, holding onto Bitcoin and Ethereum is the best thing; it is very difficult for most people to find better investment targets than Bitcoin and Ethereum.

Frankly acknowledging and recognizing this point is more meaningful for the vast majority of people.
