Ethereum has risen to over 3,200. Can we open a short position at the important resistance level above?

Today is December 4, 2025. To determine whether we can open a large short position at over 3,200 for Ethereum, let's first look at the weekly K-line resistance levels. The weekly K-line resistance levels for Ethereum are at 3,280 and 3,337.

If it can break through 3,280, it has a chance to reach 3,337. The important resistance at this position is 3,520. Where does 3,520 come from? It is from the defensive line near 3,564.

So where does 3,280 come from? It is from the weekly K-line trend line at 3,290.

If we short at 3,280, that is fine. Where to set the stop loss depends on each person's acceptable stop loss rate. If it can reach 3,280 and then 3,337, the suggestion is to split the position at 3,280 into two parts and open a short at 3,337. Then set the stop loss at 3,350. If it pushes above 3,500, there should also be a pullback, and we can take advantage of that pullback.

Yesterday, both short and long positions made profits, with the price moving from 3,059 to over 3,100, so both short and long positions were profitable.

At this position, there is also a strategy for closing all long positions, which has already automatically taken profit. Therefore, if we consider left-side entry at this position, the risk factor will be relatively high. For right-side entry, it might be better to wait for a clear downward trend line to appear in 30 minutes or an hour. Opening a short position on the right side is relatively safer, but some friends may want to enter on the left side. For left-side entry, refer to the resistance levels of 3,280, 3,337, and 3,430.

3,250, 3,280, and 3,325 are all scalp levels. Right now, chasing long positions while the price is rising carries significant risk.
