Trump Media & Technology Group (TMTG), a technology and media company co-founded by former U.S. President Trump, plans to launch a prediction market feature on its social media platform, Truth Social.

According to an official announcement on Tuesday, Trump's Truth Social has partnered with major U.S. cryptocurrency exchange Crypto.com to launch a social media prediction market platform called Truth Predict.

Devin Nunes, CEO of Trump Media, stated, "For too long, global elites have tightly controlled these markets—through Truth Predict, we are democratizing information and empowering everyday Americans to leverage collective wisdom to turn free speech into actionable foresight."

As Truth Social enters the prediction market space, the global prediction market industry is experiencing robust growth, with industry giants Kalshi and Polymarket leading the trend.

According to data from SEO.ai, since its launch in 2022, Truth Social has accumulated approximately 6.3 million users as of January 2025, significantly trailing behind competitor platforms, such as X, which had 650 million users at the beginning of 2025.

According to TMTG's statement, the integration of Truth Social's prediction market will begin beta testing on the social media platform "soon."

The announcement noted that after the beta testing is launched, Truth Social is expected to fully roll out the Truth Predict platform in the United States.

While the upcoming Truth Predict is clearly aimed at the U.S. market, established market participants like Kalshi and Polymarket face numerous challenges when providing prediction market services in the U.S.

On Monday, Kalshi filed a lawsuit against the New York State Gaming Commission, accusing the regulatory body of overstepping its authority by issuing a cease-and-desist order, claiming it illegally provided sports betting services.

Polymarket is currently working to resume operations in the U.S. after the platform had to exit the U.S. market in 2022 due to operating an unregistered derivatives trading platform, following a settlement with the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC).

The CFTC and the U.S. Department of Justice have terminated their investigation into Polymarket, highlighting a softening of the Trump administration's overall stance on cryptocurrency.

Donald Trump Jr., the eldest son of the U.S. President and executive vice president of the Trump Organization, joined Polymarket's advisory board in August.
