Rumble CEO Chris Pavlovski told popular content creator David Freiheit—better known online as “Viva Frei”—that the upcoming feature is currently in testing, hinting that bitcoin tips are just around the corner.
“So, obviously, we are currently in the testing phase, and you are the first person to start testing it,” Pavlovski said to Viva Frei. Rumble shared the first tip in a video posted to X.
Tether CEO Paolo Ardoino said the feature should be ready by December, adding that when a big rollout happens, everything must be perfect. He noted that the back end and every layer of the system are being rigorously tested to ensure smooth scalability.
Ardoino added that with 51 million active monthly users, Rumble could soon become one of the largest platforms ever to embrace bitcoin and stablecoins. Ardoino also emphasized Rumble’s contrast with Youtube, saying, “Imagine a platform like Youtube supporting this—they never would,” noting that such companies depend on the power to censor and control speech.
The Tether CEO stressed that the ecosystem can find use cases that truly empower creators, giving them the security of knowing they will “not be debanked for what they say.” Rumble’s upcoming tipping feature will reportedly integrate directly into Rumble Wallet and support the crypto assets bitcoin ( BTC), USDT, and XAUT.
If all goes according to plan, Rumble’s bitcoin tipping feature could mark a turning point for creator monetization—fusing free speech with financial freedom. By pairing its no-censorship ethos with Tether’s crypto infrastructure, the platform may be able to carve out a unique niche in the streaming world, one where creators control both their content and their income.
