Lin Chao on Coins: SOL Third Generation Retail Investor Harvesting Machine

In the midst of strategizing, we decide the outcome from a thousand miles away. Hello everyone, I am Lin Chao, a global financial market observer, focusing on cryptocurrency market analysis, bringing you the most in-depth trading information analysis and technical teaching.

Ethereum is the harvesting machine for the previous generation of retail investors, while the original harvesting machine was BTC. However, both of their prices are now too high for most retail investors to engage with.

SOL is referred to as the harvesting machine for the third generation of retail investors, not because it cannot generate profits for everyone, but because it currently serves as a gathering place for retail investors. The reason is simple: the price of a single coin is appropriate, the popularity is high, and the narrative is strong.

True trend markets often brew quietly amidst fluctuations. Prices continuously rise (bullish) or fall (bearish) over a period of time, repeatedly testing key structural levels, gradually breaking through the balance of bulls and bears. The final large bullish or bearish candle is merely the result. In other words, the real starting point has already begun at this very moment.

Let’s briefly review the performance of BTC, ETH, and SOL from July to now. The purple area in the chart represents the price movements of the three cryptocurrencies from July to now. From the slope, it is clear that BTC is in a consolidation phase (horizontal rectangular shape), ETH is experiencing a surge (vertical rectangular shape), and SOL is following the trend (almost square shape). I have previously mentioned that BTC can now be understood as the index of the cryptocurrency market. If the index is consolidating, individual stocks can perform. If ETH breaks out of consolidation, then altcoins led by SOL will inevitably surge, and the surge of altcoins also signifies the end of the bull market. This is all orchestrated by the market makers. So, what cycle are we in now, and what should we do moving forward? A discerning person can easily tell (additionally, the slope should be compared using a logarithmic scale).

Many people have sent me private messages asking when SOL will reach 280? When will it reach 300? Such questions are quite thoughtless. First of all, I do not reply to private messages; there are many scammers and shills in private messages, and distinguishing them takes time and effort. I do not want to waste time on this. If you truly have questions, put in some effort, and you will naturally find me. Secondly, if I knew when it would reach 280, would I still need to monitor the market and study the price charts every day? Such questions are quite foolish. Analysis and judgment are merely guesses about future trends; with a judgment in place, one can take corresponding actions when market changes occur.

Some people also ask me whether I mainly focus on contracts or spot trading. I actually don’t understand why this question arises. Does holding spot mean one cannot trade contracts? For me, spot trading is about following trends and holding long-term, while contracts are about risk management and short-term speculation. Spot is the foundation of contracts, and contracts are the safeguard of spot trading. These are just two tools for profit in the market. Why should we oppose the two?

If you are currently feeling lost—unable to understand technology, unable to read charts, unsure when to enter the market, unable to set stop losses, not understanding take profits, randomly increasing positions, getting stuck while trying to catch the bottom, unable to hold onto profits, missing market opportunities… these are all common issues for retail investors. Lin Chao can help you establish the correct trading mindset. A single profitable trade is worth more than a thousand words; repeated failures are not as good as finding the right direction. Instead of frequent operations, it is better to strike accurately, making each trade more valuable.

The success of investment depends not only on choosing good targets but also on when to buy and sell. Preserving capital and making good asset allocations are essential for steady progress in the ocean of investments. Life is like a long river flowing into the sea; what determines victory or defeat is never just the gains and losses of a single pass or the profits and losses of a moment, but rather planning before action and knowing when to stop to gain.

The global market is ever-changing, and the world is a whole. Follow Lin Chao to gain a top-tier global financial perspective.
