On August 4, 2024, the first Tech Fairness Hackathon, co-hosted by the FAIR3 community in collaboration with CARV and HackQuest, officially concluded successfully. This Hackathon lasted for one and a half months, focusing on key topics such as "Tech Fairness," "Privacy Data Rights," and "AI Agents Infrastructure," attracting over 600 applications and more than 200 team projects registered to compete from around the world.
After project solicitation, qualification screening, professional review, and the final Demo Day showcase, 30 project teams made it to the final evaluation, where 21 outstanding projects were selected, covering various tracks from exploring tech fairness, building AI infrastructure, data coordination frameworks, modular identity systems, to real-world applications of AI × Web3.
Multidimensional Track Setup, Focusing on the Co-evolution of "Tech Fairness" and "Smart Infrastructure"
This Hackathon established two core thematic sections proposed by FAIR3 and CARV, representing two different but complementary directions in the development of Web3 technology:
FAIR3 Theme: "Tech Fairness"
Proposed by the FAIR3 community, this theme revolves around the core assertion that "technology should serve the majority," exploring fair system design in the context of AI × Web3, including institutional design, product experience, and decentralized infrastructure construction across multiple dimensions. Four competition tracks were established:
· Tech Fairness Exploration
· Public Infrastructure
· UnicornX Special Award
· BNBChain Integration Awards
The FAIR3 section set up a prize pool of 30,000 USD in FAIR3 Tokens and will continue to provide incubation support, resource connections, financing referrals, and a series of follow-up development support after the competition.
CARV Theme: "AI × Web3 Infra Experimental Field"
Initiated by CARV, this theme focuses on how to build underlying infrastructure that supports the deep integration of AI Agents and Web3 data, promoting the deployment, data processing, and self-execution of AI technology on the blockchain. This section covers the following four major tracks:
· AI Agent Infra on SVM
· Decentralized Data Orchestration with D.A.T.A Framework
· Modular Identity & Reputation: CARV ID
· Open Innovation: AI × Web3 for Real-World Use Cases
The CARV section has a prize pool of 20,000 USD in CARV Tokens and plans to promote the further productization and on-chain integration of winning projects through its mainnet ecosystem and D.A.T.A Framework.

FAIR3 Incubation Support Program: Extending Tech Fairness from Hackathon to Reality
As the initiating community of the "Tech Fairness Commitment Agreement," FAIR3 announced that it will provide ongoing support and incubation plans for the winning projects, including but not limited to:
· Launching the "Fair Incubation Program": Providing funding, operational support, and product landing services for selected projects;
· Connecting FAIR3 community resources, including communication, token model design, ecological testing users, etc.;
· Collaborating with UnicornVerse (the supporting platform behind UnicornX) to connect projects with financing and cooperation resources;
· Regularly hosting online AMAs, demo sharing sessions, etc., to continuously enhance project community visibility;
· Inviting project parties to sign the "Tech Fairness Commitment Agreement" to jointly build a more transparent, inclusive, and verifiable technological development environment.
This Hackathon was sponsored by Ann, the founder of UnicornVerse, and received joint sponsorship from several senior builders and KOLs in the crypto field, such as cryptocurrency philanthropists.
As Ann expressed:
"We decided to sponsor the Fair3 Hackathon not because it is a hot event, nor because it can bring in traffic or exposure. But because it touches on the most genuine question in our hearts: Whose service should the value of technology ultimately serve?
In this industry, we have seen too many moments of 'deification,' but we have also seen more silent creators, quietly building fairer systems, gentler protocols, and more honest code in places without applause.
What Fair3 has been doing is a very 'slow' thing: replacing speculation with collaboration, using faith to resist illusion.
It wants to create an environment where those who truly care about structural issues can be seen, connected, and supported.
And this Hackathon is our collective response."
As FAIR3 has always advocated, "Technology should not only serve a few."
We believe that what this Hackathon has sparked is not just a collision of creativity and technology, but a collective resonance in the Web3 world about "technology for good."
FAIR3 will continue to connect communities, public chains, and developers, encouraging more builders to practice fair values in system design, and jointly build a more equitable, open, and sustainable technological future.
