Well-known trader Egrag Crypto pointed out in his latest analysis on the X platform that $3.03 has become a key price level for XRP.
Data from Cointelegraph Markets Pro and TradingView shows that XRP/USD rose 1% on Thursday, approaching the monthly historical high.
However, to achieve the highest monthly close ever, XRP's price must close above $3.03 in July, which has not happened since January 2025.
According to Egrag Crypto, XRP/USD has failed to achieve a decisive close at this level in past cycles, and this achievement could put XRP on the path to price discovery.
"A close above $3.03 will mark the first historic candle close above this level in XRP's journey," he explained.
"The 'Chasm' is a key resistance line connecting historical cycle highs, with each cycle starting from a golden cross between the 21-month exponential moving average (EMA) and the 33-month simple moving average (SMA), which is seen as an important signal of the macro trend. Historically, after reaching this resistance line, XRP has experienced parabolic rises multiple times."
If XRP reaches the 'Chasm', the initial target is $11. If it breaks through, it could replicate past parabolic patterns, rising as high as $37.
Crypto investor Crypto Bitlord stated on the X platform that XRP will strongly rise before today's monthly close. This trend will push the price up to $7.
Another analyst, Cryptollica, mentioned that the breakout target for XRP's descending pattern on the two-week chart is $10.

Cointelegraph previously reported that some analysts believe XRP will enter a period of consolidation after a strong rise, which aligns with typical price behavior; while others think selling pressure may continue, with recent profit-taking clearly increasing.
At the same time, CryptoRank data shows that XRP is expected to achieve a July gain for the sixth consecutive year.
So far, XRP has risen 42% in July 2025, marking the third-best July performance in history.
