New projects, on-chain data, DeFi protocol updates, DAO trends, AI narratives, white paper analysis, trending Twitter posts… Don't even mention working 8 hours; 24 hours aren't enough. You need to scroll through X, read Mirror blogs, join TG groups, Discord, and also browse GitHub, RSS, Bilibili, YouTube. If you miss an important piece of information one day, you might miss the opportunity for a 10x coin.

But now, I have finally found a life-saving tool—an open-source artifact that helps me overcome information anxiety.

🚀 It's called: @folo_is (Follow RSSHub + Miniflux / FreshRSS (as shown in Figure 1)

It currently has over 28,000 stars from programmers on #GitHub. It's very popular, and I believe a good tool can make information collection efficient and effective. It’s not an ordinary "information aggregator," but rather your own intelligence command center. In simple terms, you can pull in all the content you want to see without being "fed information" by platform algorithms.

You can see everything on one page, quickly skim through content like clocking in, no longer being consumed by "infinite scrolling."

🧠 How do I use it?

I paired it with a few components, and it feels amazing:

✅ How do I get content sources?

Use RSSHub to capture the content sources I'm interested in

Including Twitter users (using Nitter)

Subscribing to certain keywords on X

Updates from Bilibili creators

GitHub project updates, Releases, Issues, Stars

Official project Blogs / Mirror subscriptions

RSS feeds from news sites like CoinDesk, Decrypt, etc.

Convert Telegram channels to RSS (with Bot)

Notion Blogs / Substack from Web3 researchers

✅ The aggregation platform I use is Miniflux + FreshRSS (both open-source)

Open a webpage in the browser, and all information is arranged chronologically

No ads, no push notifications, no recommendation algorithms

It simply displays what you subscribed to

Automatically marks what you’ve read, no need to scroll back

📈 What is the biggest change for me?

Information has shifted from "random push" to "ordered intake"

Anxiety has changed from "fear of missing out" to "I've seen it all"

Time has transformed from "scrolling endlessly" to "a quick glance to grasp"

For example: Previously, when scrolling through X, I could only see two or three valuable pieces of information in 10 minutes, and I might get distracted by other things. Now, when I open #Folo, I can skim through updates from 20 core Web3 accounts in a day within 10 minutes, not missing any important project dynamics.

The key is: no information garbage, no emotional baiting, no endless recommendations (Figures 2 and 3). I feel that information in the #Web3 industry is too scattered, not unified on a platform, with content spread across on-chain, Twitter, GitHub, blogs… Trends change rapidly, and relying on algorithm recommendations is simply not enough. In the fast-changing crypto industry, the sooner you get information, the more early investment opportunities and cognitive dividends you have.

And the tool @folo_is has given me "my own information flow," representing a form of sovereign information acquisition, just like a wallet represents asset sovereignty. In this age of information overload, freedom is not about who sees more, but about who can filter what they want to see. So, if you are like me, a Web3 explorer, researcher, investor, creator, engineer… I really recommend you try this system.
