The MOS is designed to create a level playing field by reducing the reliance on third-party hosted software, thereby allowing smaller players to compete with larger, publicly listed companies. Built on a scalable, resilient, and modular peer-to-peer architecture, the system can accommodate setups ranging from small Raspberry Pi configurations to extensive deployments with multiple mainframes managing hundreds of thousands of miners. The MOS will include plugins for various mining machines, containers, and electrical equipment, and it will allow developers to create custom plugins for specific devices. Ardoino envisions future integration with Tether’s QVAC platform to improve reporting and performance through artificial intelligence tools that analyze data generated by the MOS. The open-sourcing initiative is expected to be completed by Q4 2025, with plans for comprehensive documentation and guides to support public use.
