Photos from the secret dinner hosted by U.S. President Donald Trump for top buyers of his meme coin show attendees enjoying a three-course meal and receiving gift bags, while protesters gathered outside, accusing Trump of profiting from his presidential position.

Some of the largest holders of the official Trump (TRUMP) tokens (a total of 220) shared images online showing attendees welcomed by large posters reading "Fight Fight Fight," which were also placed on each table, quoting the slogan of the company that launched the meme coin. Critics pointed out that this cryptocurrency project conflicts with Trump's ethical standards as president.

The White House stated it would not release the guest list for the dinner, but figures such as Tron CEO Justin Sun, Magic Eden CEO Jack Lu, and BitMart CEO Sheldon Xia shared photos from the dinner held at Trump National Golf Club in Virginia.

According to two photos clearly taken by attendees that Cointelegraph saw, the menu featured "Trump Organic Garden Salad," followed by filet mignon and pan-seared halibut, accompanied by mashed potatoes and a vegetable platter, with lava cake for dessert.

A video from the event showed attendees also received a gift bag containing a black hat.

Justin Sun was previously accused by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) of violating securities laws during the Trump administration, but the charges were later dropped. He was the single largest buyer of the Trump meme coin before the dinner.

The video showed the China-born cryptocurrency entrepreneur, who is also the biggest supporter of Trump's crypto platform World Liberty Financial, being invited on stage and ceremoniously presented with a gold Trump-branded watch. It is reported that the watch is sold by Trump-related companies for $100,000.

The Wall Street Journal and other media reported on Justin Sun's attendance at the event, with many outlets noting that the dinner could deepen his ties with Trump and his family.

According to Bloomberg, about 100 protesters gathered outside the event, booing and mocking attendees as they arrived.

Protesters held signs reading: "Stop Trump's Cryptocurrency Corruption" and "Democracy is Not for Sale," along with signs stating "Crypto Fraud Dinner, Menu Includes Bribery."

Some protesters called for Trump's impeachment and removal, while others demanded financial reform in the U.S.

Reports indicate that Trump-related entities profited about $100 million from the transaction fees of the TRUMP token, which was launched two days before Trump was inaugurated on January 20.

On March 24, Trump Media also signed a non-binding agreement with Crypto.com to launch a series of "Made in America" exchange-traded products in the U.S.
