As U.S. President Donald Trump prepares to host the first White House cryptocurrency summit on March 7, the crypto industry is closely watching who will be invited.
According to Fox Business reporter Eleanor Terrett, the roundtable is scheduled to take place from 6:30 PM to 10:30 PM Coordinated Universal Time (UTC), with over 25 participants expected, including members of the President's Digital Asset Working Group.
As of Wednesday morning, Terrett reported that 11 executives from the crypto industry and two representatives from the White House have confirmed their attendance.
Terrett wrote, "It is currently unclear who else will attend besides Bo Hines and David Sacks, but if you look back at Trump's executive order, the President's Digital Asset Working Group also includes Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent, Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick, Attorney General Pam Bondi, the Chair of the SEC, the Chair of the CFTC, and others."
The confirmed crypto industry executives and government attendees include the following:
Although Terrett's list did not include Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse, he hinted at his attendance in a post on social media platform X shortly after Sacks, Trump's cryptocurrency affairs lead, announced the summit on March 1.
Garlinghouse wrote, "I will definitely continue to support the development of this field while in Washington this weekend."
According to Terrett, Trump's invitation was emailed to attendees on March 4, meaning Garlinghouse was one of the first executives to receive the invitation.

Terrett stated, "A larger, invite-only reception is being planned across from the White House for those who were not invited to the roundtable." She also added that these plans are not yet finalized and may change.
As speculation around the summit continues, the cryptocurrency community is calling for the invitation of other key industry figures, including ARK Invest founder Cathie Wood, Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin, Circle co-founder Jeremy Allaire, Tether CEO Paolo Ardoino, Cardano founder Charles Hoskinson, and Solana founder Anatoly Yakovenko.
