Many people say that this round of market has not made money, and I think it's normal; not losing money is already quite good. Even in the last bull market, those who made money were still a minority.

From my personal observation, the sample size is limited and should not be considered a rigorous conclusion drawn from empirical analysis. There are a few types of people who made money (with varying degrees of profit), while the vast majority lost money.

Types of people who made money:

1⃣ BTC holders: Holding BTC at a low cost for a long time, they foolishly outperform 80% of the market.

2⃣ Quantitative trading traders: Not relying on emotions, they continuously optimize and iterate their strategy system based on extracted factors.

3⃣ DeFi arbitrage traders: Generating income by utilizing opportunities like MEV or decoupling.

Types of people who lost money:

1⃣ Chasing MEMEs and shitcoins: Even if they made money before, they will lose it back in the same way they earned it.

2⃣ Altcoin holders: Those who do not know how to buy coins or casually hold a bunch of altcoins, lying flat after prices drop below their cost line.

3⃣ Copy trading: Not doing their own research, they follow some KOLs for buying and selling.

Here are a few suggestions for those who are new to the space or just entering: 👇

1⃣ You cannot view the crypto space from a value investment perspective; at least for now, most coins have no value, except for BTC.

2⃣ The principle of not losing money that Buffett mentioned is very suitable for the crypto space; this is the first golden rule. If you cannot grasp the opportunity to make money, then ensure that you do not lose money first; even not buying is a good choice.

3⃣ Do not rush to trade coins; first, understand the blockchain industry clearly and accumulate industry knowledge.

4⃣ Do not let others make investment decisions for you; form your own independent thinking based on accumulated industry knowledge.
