MYRIAD, the on-chain prediction market from Decrypt’s parent company DASTAN, is teaming up with Paris Blockchain Week for its Start in Block competition.
As part of the event, MYRIAD will run a community contest on its decentralized prediction market, inviting participants to make predictions based around the Start in Block competition.
The competition will see hundreds of crypto startups battling it out for a share of over $10 million in prizes, with more than 400 investors in attendance.
Twelve investor-selected finalists will secure a booth at Paris Blockchain Week’s Startup Village, before taking to the stage and pitching to top decision makers. The event culminates in the Master Stage final, where three winners will receive exclusive access to funding opportunities, mentorship, acceleration programs and technical resources, as well as PR support and a chance to pitch on Apple TV show “Killer Whales.”

Previous winners include Xverse, CrossCurve, Bubblemaps, Bitstack, Onesafe, Zyfi and PWN, raising tens of millions of dollars in seed funding between them as a result of their placement in the competition. Bubblemaps CEO Nick Vaimant said that the event was “a game-changer for our roadshow,” adding that, “We not only secured investments but also gained visibility that helped us oversubscribe our seed round!"

MYRIAD’s sister firms Decrypt and Rug Radio will be media partners for Paris Blockchain Week, which runs between April 8-10 at the Carrousel du Louvre.
The event is set to bring together over 10,000 attendees and over 420 speakers from Web3 firms including Ripple, eToro, Crypto.com, Ava Labs and Gemini. As part of Paris Blockchain Week, Investors Day on April 10 will bring together funds, LPs, institutional investors, angels and market makers for a series of networking events and deal-making opportunities.
