Preface

Recently, the cryptocurrency market has experienced a roller-coaster trend of sharp declines and surges, which has been unsettling.

In order to clarify the current position of this bull market and to have an overall understanding of the cryptocurrency market this year, Golden Finance has analyzed the performance of the top 50 cryptocurrencies from the beginning of the year to the present.

After data analysis, it was found that based on the beginning of the year prices, 60% of the cryptocurrencies have erased their gains for the year; the highest gains were seen in the two MEME tokens, WIF and PEEP, suggesting that 2024 may be the year of the MEME coin explosion; TON has been the best-performing public chain token, with a gain of 150.17% since the beginning of the year; in addition, BNB, SOL, LEO, and KAS have seen gains of nearly 50%.
