If one can invest enough time, has strong execution ability, and a strong willingness to learn, how can one relatively quickly go from zero to $100,000 in the blockchain industry?

When I saw this question, I felt somewhat conflicted:

First, I thought that sometimes people really need luck. Sometimes the importance of luck may outweigh all other factors.

My ability to enter this ecosystem is luck.

Looking back to when I started writing articles in 2019, my set Bitcoin dollar-cost averaging price was only $8,000 to $10,000, and the Ethereum dollar-cost averaging price was only $400.

Looking back with the benefit of hindsight, in the market conditions of that year, it would have been quite conservative to say that achieving $100,000 with less than $20,000 in capital would have been enough in just two years.

However, time flies, and in just a few short years, such a situation is no longer possible.

In today's market conditions, when newcomers enter this ecosystem, although there will still be many opportunities, can they achieve the same returns in two years as we lucky ones did by putting in the same efforts and sweat as we did back then?

I'm not sure, and it's probably difficult to give very precise advice.

However, there is one point of view that I think should be applicable in any era, and that is an old saying from our ancestors: Wealth does not come in a hurry.

I suggest that the new generation of investors who hope to enter and cultivate this ecosystem should not be too hasty when entering this ecosystem. It's best to approach the various phenomena in this ecosystem with a calm and rational mindset, especially when it comes to viewing the "get rich quick" myths with equanimity.

When I entered this ecosystem, I was also inspired and excited by those "get rich quick" myths. But as time passed, I became very indifferent to those experiences. There is only one type of experience that I still consider very precious, nostalgic, and continues to motivate me:

That is when I sought advice from the seniors in this ecosystem, especially when it came to the spirit of blockchain, the values of the blockchain ecosystem, and the value orientation of blockchain projects. The scene where that senior would patiently explain to me.

At that time, the senior would often condescend to spend a few hours or even half a day explaining because of one or two questions, sharing his understanding of values and value orientation through the history of Bitcoin, his experiences, and his understanding of a project.

As a result, to this day, whenever I see some of the senior's viewpoints, I don't need to read his words carefully, I can guess why he thinks that way and what his judgment process is.

When discussing issues with the senior, I would forget about the price fluctuations, market trends, and the myths of getting rich quick, and would instead look at a project from a fundamental perspective in terms of its past, present, and future. I would consider whether a project's development aligns with the trends of this ecosystem, whether its characteristics align with the values of this ecosystem, and whether it is a genuine blockchain project or a disguised fake.

If I can understand and comprehend these questions, when I look at a project again, I can naturally judge its value, think about its future prospects and potential, and be delighted to increase my position when the price of a good project plummets, and still see unlimited brightness ahead when the entire market is in despair.

However, if someone had asked me in those days: "With your current mindset and operations, how long will it take for you to earn XXX?" I definitely wouldn't have been able to answer, because I couldn't predict whether I would have the luck to earn XXX, let alone when that luck would appear.

But now if I encounter such a question, I would firmly believe: If one can truly invest enough time, demonstrate strong execution, and have a strong willingness to learn, although I cannot predict when the opportunity to earn XXX will arise, such an opportunity will definitely come.
