The decision, influenced by a mix of internal and external factors, initiates a six-month winding-down process starting from May 7, 2024. Effective immediately, all new signups and ad postings are disabled, and new trades will be halted from May 14, 2024. The platform will be completely taken down on November 7, 2024. Users are advised to finalize or cancel all trades and reclaim any funds from their arbitration bond wallet before this date. Despite the closure, the team expressed confidence in the bright future of Monero, citing the upcoming launch of Haveno and other Decentralized Exchanges (DEXs) like Serai, the addition of Full Blockchain Anonymity Set Replacing Rings of 16 (FCMP), and the ongoing rapid development of the Monero protocol. The team thanked the community for their support and assured that their support staff would be available for assistance throughout the winding-down period.
