There is no shortage of projects with high demand and the ability to solve practical pain points in Web3.

On the occasion of the closing of the ETHDenver Ethereum community event, ETHDenver announced the Top 15 of the BUIDLATHON hackathon, mainly involving infrastructure, DeFi, NFT and gaming, DAO and community tracks, showcasing the core areas of focus and construction by Web3 BUIDLers.
Among them are projects with high demand and the ability to solve practical pain points in Web3, such as the points market Michi using the ERC-6551 standard to create a wallet bound with NFT, allowing points to be earned on any existing protocol, and when selling NFT, any accumulated points in the wallet will also be sold. For example, OOPS! allows users to quickly transfer all ERC-20 and ERC-721 tokens from one wallet address to another, while retaining their on-chain identity through proof of on-chain transfer, without losing eligibility for airdrops, and more. The emergence of these projects demonstrates the potential for innovation and solving practical problems, providing new ideas for builders and developers.
Infrastructure & Scalability
VeriFido
VeriFido generates verifiable Ethereum indexes, using Cartesi Machine to provide a deterministic and verifiable execution environment for general index processing.
In addition to the processing itself, another key part of the index workflow is to obtain data from the blockchain in a verifiable manner. To achieve this, VeriFido uses Optimism's Pre-image Oracle to obtain block data based on the keccak256 hash value. Therefore, when Cartesi's upcoming Dave anti-fraud protocol is put into operation, the entire indexing process will cause controversy on-chain without permission. Finally, the structured index data is published to IPFS, and can be queried by any client. In VeriFido, this data is currently published as a SQLite database, which can then be remotely queried by front-end clients (such as web applications).

DeFi, NFT, and Gaming
Egg Wars
Egg Wars is a game on Base, with two core assets, ERC-721 NFT "Chickens" and ERC-20 token "EGG" (used as the main fuel for the game).
At the start of the game, there are 150 players. Each player contributes 0.015ETH to launch a liquidity pool on Uniswap containing 20,000 EGGs. Existing players have a Chicken NFT starting from level 1. Every 8 hours, the Chicken can lay eggs, and the eggs laid will be added to the player's wallet in the form of EGG tokens. The amount of EGG obtained each time equals the level of the Chicken. Existing players can buy or sell eggs to support their game strategy. New players can buy eggs to try hatching new chickens and join the game.
In addition, players can use EGG for feeding, mischief (throwing at opponents), and hatching, and the level will increase or decrease.

Bubble Wars
Bubble Wars is an on-chain MMO game where ETH has mass and momentum conservation, providing a way for ETH holders to consume and earn ETH.
Bubble Wars runs a physics engine in its own Rollup (CartesiVM, Node.js/Typescript smart contract). Users can join the game after generating a Portal (a separate EOA or account abstract address), and any funds sent to the Portal will automatically transfer to the running Bubblewars application Rollup, and can be withdrawn back to Layer1 at any time after the proof cycle ends. After depositing enough ETH, players can start launching bubbles.
The main goal for players is to absorb ETH mass from enemy bubbles and store it back to their Portal for profit. Any bubble with less mass than yours can be consumed. Conversely, any bubble with more mass will devour you. Bubbles move around in a completely physics-based way.
To propel the bubble, players must launch ETH in the opposite direction (based on momentum conservation). In addition, the momentum of the absorbed mass is also transferred, so the absorbed bubbles can accelerate or decelerate the player's speed.

Michi Protocol
Michi is a trustless points market, using the ERC-6551 standard to create a wallet bound with NFT, allowing points to be earned on any existing protocol. By selling NFT, any accumulated points in the wallet will also be sold.

DAO and Community
A Bank For DAOS
A Bank For DAOS provides relatively simple loans, aiming to bring more small businesses into the DAO ecosystem.

Sekai
Sekai has launched a solution that democratizes the content creation process using AI and Web3, making it easier and more collaborative. Sekai allows anyone to contribute to storytelling, regardless of their technical skills or creative background.
Sekai uses the Story Protocol and a Social-Fi model inspired by friend.tech to ensure fair compensation and recognition for creators.

Tribuni
Tribuni aims to change the decentralized governance landscape through its Telegram mini-application, streamlining and simplifying the process of governance proposals, statistical data, and decision-making in blockchain protocols.

Impact and Public Goods
Befit
Befit is a fitness app that combines the random sharing feature of the photo-sharing app BeReal with incentive mechanisms, with main features including:
- Encouraging spontaneous fitness through random exercise prompts;
- Using machine learning to verify exercise completion to ensure accountability;
- Creating achievement records through NFT rewards;
- Allowing the sending of USDC tokens to friends as rewards for achieving fitness goals.

EBF Network of Trust Impact
EBF Network of Trust Impact is a discoverable trust network for registering impact projects and verifying their ecological benefits, allowing builders, investors, and stakeholders to make decisions when evaluating the impact of projects they want to support.
Unbound Science
Unbound Science aims to optimize the scientific research funding process, separating the agenda of donors from research, and giving the public a voice in what gets funded. Voting tokens are distributed to donors and the platform community to support their favorite proposals.
Unbound Science will initially support research in Energy, Air, Water and Soil technologies, Pollution or Waste Management, and Quantum Research.
Identity, Privacy, and Security
ODIN
By using ODIN, DApps can ensure the temporary pause of their smart contracts before executing malicious transactions that violate protocol invariants (usually due to hacking attacks). This also leads to a two-sided market where DApps pay service fees to block builders, who are then bound on the EigenLayer so they cannot maliciously pause these DApps.
OOPS!
OOPS! allows users to quickly, thoroughly, and efficiently transfer all ERC-20 and ERC-721 tokens from one wallet address to another, while retaining their on-chain identity through proof of on-chain transfer.
HoneyPause
HoneyPause is a permissionless on-chain bug bounty tied to a circuit breaker. White hats can prove smart contract vulnerabilities on-chain, pause affected protocols, and then collect bounties for it. Protocols choose to join the system by registering bounties on their smart contracts. The entire system is permissionless, non-custodial, and free.
