The MEME trading frenzy on Solana and Avalanche is sweeping the market.

Compared to Ethereum, these networks are favored by traders for their lower transaction fees and faster speeds. Solana's transaction costs are extremely low, less than one cent, and processing takes only a few seconds; in contrast, Ethereum's transaction fees require at least $15 and processing time could be as long as a minute. Such differences have made Solana and Avalanche the new darlings in the eyes of investors.

A series of Meme-based dog coins on Solana have taken off, with some explosive growth not only fueling heated discussions in the market, but also playing a significant role in the continued hotness of the Solana ecosystem.

Among all the public chain inscriptions, Sols has always performed extraordinarily, so last week Bitget announced the launch of the Solana chain's inscription token Sols and opened the trading channel on December 15. Subsequently, Magic Eden's market data showed that the floor price of Sols broke through 100 SOL, setting a new historical high, causing many to "slap their thighs."

Its total supply is 21 million, with 10.5 million being minted at a price of 0.08 SOL, and all proceeds will enter the AMM pool. Therefore, he launched the Meta Protocol protocol through inscription technology and introduced the pure inscription ZERO Fairmint on Solana.

The mechanism of Fairmint is interesting: every 10,500 Solana blocks, approximately 300 milliseconds per block, with a total duration of about 90 minutes, there are 10,500 inscriptions. The hash value of each block extracts a number, and the winner is the first number closest to the block hash value from top to bottom in even blocks, and vice versa in odd blocks. Each transaction incurs a fee of 0.08 Sol, all of which goes into the ZERO pool.

It is reported that the probability of winning is about 8%, making the market value when joining the pool reach $1.3 million. In the Solana ecosystem, many new projects are quickly snapped up, and the Meta Protocol protocol's innovation through Ordinals technology and principles in implementing Fairmint may be one of the reasons why ZERO is so popular.

In addition, the token WIF, based on the "dog with a hat" meme, often ranks first on the Birdeye trading hot list. As of the time of writing, the price of WIF is $0.21.

COQ is a "chicken"-themed meme project launched by @WojakSatoshi on December 8th. In less than a week online, it has become the hottest meme coin on Avalanche. The community refers to COQ as the PEPE of Avalanche.

In the past few days, COQ has also shown a significant growth trend. According to CoinGecko's data, on December 18th, COQ saw a 26.7% increase within 24 hours, with a price of 0.00000178 USD. Then on the same day, its increase further expanded to 45.1%, with the price rising to 0.00000196 USD. By December 19th, COQ's increase reached an impressive 108.6%, with the price rising to 0.00000244 USD, showing strong market dynamics.
