
PANews April 25 news, according to The Straits Times report, the Singapore police Anti-Scam Centre, together with the Cyber Crime Department, collaborated with several cryptocurrency trading platforms including Coinbase and Coinhako to conduct a month-long special anti-fraud operation from March 16 to April 15. The law enforcement agencies used on-chain analysis tools from Chainalysis and TRM Labs to investigate various types of scam cases, including impersonating public officials, investment, online romance, and job hunting, completing over 90 offline and remote interventions and successfully intercepting involved funds exceeding 2.86 million yuan. The police pointed out that efficient inter-agency and public-private information sharing was key to this operation, and they will continue to strengthen cooperation to regularly prevent various fraud risks arising from cryptocurrencies.
