How much is your judgment worth? My practical experience on BitX.

In an era of information explosion and emotional dominance, our judgments about the future are becoming increasingly difficult. Whether it's the fluctuations of financial markets or the trends of social hot topics, people are becoming more accustomed to "listening to the noise" rather than "making the right judgments." Social platforms are constantly noisy, but truly valuable predictions are few and far between.

As someone who has long been interested in market trends, I have always been intrigued by the concept of "prediction markets." It is not just an investment play, but more like an experiment in "collective wisdom." However, most platforms are not very user-friendly for ordinary users: the rules are complex, the topics are fixed, and the profit mechanisms are vague… There are very few places truly suitable for "making money through judgment."

  1. BitX First Experience: A Community-Based Prediction Market with Transparent Rules

Recently, I used a prediction market called BitX, which was shared by a friend. I later found out that sharing can earn a 60% commission, and this guy was indeed clever. After using it, I have a few impressions to share:

(1) High Commission for Sharing

I casually shared the topic I created, "Bitcoin July Price Prediction," to my social circle and earned a $27 commission—though it's not much, it was a pleasant surprise. This platform allocates most of the transaction fees to users, which is generally only seen in exchanges that offer such high commission rates.

(2) UGC Prediction Platform

Looking at BitX, it is a UGC model prediction platform, meaning users can create their own prediction topics, unlike Polymarket, where only official topics are provided, and we can only place bets. On this platform, anyone can create predictions, such as "2025 LOL MSI Champion" or "Will the Federal Reserve raise interest rates next time?" Others can participate, and you can earn a share of their transaction fees. It feels more like a place where everyone plays together, predicts together, and can also earn some profits. However, the platform is still in its early stages and needs a few high liquidity topics to boost the overall experience.

(3) Enhanced Fairness in Community Judgments

Having suffered losses on Polymarket before, I have always been concerned about the fairness of prediction results. BitX relies on the community to determine outcomes, not just a big player calling the shots. The final result of a topic is decided by a vote, and in case of disputes, users can stake funds to participate in the voting. If you side with the majority, you might even receive multiple times your investment. This design encourages more people to use real money to judge right from wrong, providing a sense of participation while reducing the risk of unilateral manipulation. Although this design is not perfect, overall, I believe it is more reliable than simply relying on the platform's decisions.

(4) More Natural Trading Interface

BitX's order book uses a horizontal layout, which I personally prefer over Polymarket's vertical structure. One reason is that I often use OKX, which also has a horizontal order book, making visual transitions easier; another reason is that the horizontal layout helps compare buying and selling forces simultaneously, with clear red and green colors, making it easier to capture market changes. However, the UI still has a bit of a techie aesthetic, and it's easy to misclick when pricing on mobile… but compared to opaque rules, it's still acceptable.

  1. Social + Prediction: Real Earning Opportunities with BitX

There are mainly two directions for making money with BitX:

First, you can create interesting or valuable prediction topics and share them on social media, WeChat groups, or other platforms. When others participate in trading, you can earn a portion of the transaction fee commission, which is quite high; even just casually sharing can yield profits.

Second, you can participate in community judgments and help vote on controversial topics. If you make the right judgment, you not only get back your staked funds but also receive additional rewards, making this part of the earnings relatively stable and a sure win.

In short, BitX allows you to make money using your judgment and social circle, whether by posting topics to attract others to place orders or by helping vote on judgments, you can receive tangible returns. For users who want to earn while playing and are willing to engage with the community, this model is quite friendly and fulfilling.

  1. A Platform Not Dictated by the Platform

In the crypto world, the biggest fear is opacity and being tricked. BitX gives me the impression that the topics here are initiated by the community, and the results are decided by community votes, not dictated by any individual or platform. Sharing topics can earn some commission, and participating in judgments also provides rewards. Although the earnings are not substantial, at least there is profit. Overall, the experience is much more comfortable compared to the previous feeling of black-box operations. While it is not perfect yet, it at least makes me feel that this platform is relatively friendly to ordinary users, and I genuinely hope to see a decentralized prediction market emerge.
