According to The Wall Street Journal, Anthropic's S-1 registration statement draft reveals that the company generated $16.3 billion in revenue in the first half of 2026, compared to $1.1 billion during the same period last year, marking nearly a 15-fold increase. The net loss for the first half amounted to $80.7 billion, compared to a loss of $13 billion in the same period last year, primarily due to non-cash accounting expenses related to financing. The draft also shows that Anthropic's spending on computing power and infrastructure in the first half reached nearly $9 billion, up from $2.3 billion in the same period last year. Approximately 20% of the revenue came from two clients. The company plans to invest over $600 billion in computing power, exceeding the previously disclosed $518 billion. If additional computing power agreements currently under negotiation are included, future infrastructure spending commitments could reach $750 billion. Anthropic had previously planned to conduct its IPO in November.
