Brent Crude breaks $110 as Middle East attacks push oil prices higher Brent crude oil briefly surged to $110.70, hitting its highest level since May 20. This rally is mainly driven by market concerns over potential disruptions to oil production and transportation in the Middle East. A report from Kpler on Monday revealed that at least 18 vessels have reportedly been attacked in the past two weeks. The Houthi forces also claimed responsibility for attacks on Saudi Aramco facilities in Yanbu, the Shaybah oil field, and two airports. For the oil market, vessel attacks disrupt transportation, while threats to oil fields and energy facilities could directly impact supply. Earlier, news of Trump easing sanctions on Russia gave the market some hope for improved supply, but with ongoing incidents in the Middle East, concerns remain about whether oil can be transported steadily. As long as the attacks continue, it will be hard for oil prices to come down. Check out @Gate for trading across more markets!
